| 摘 要： | 一个似乎非常简单and却存在大量可待研究的话语含义.在句法结构邻接之外,合取and还存在语义结构应接.这种连接一方面依靠毗连,另一方面依靠通连.由此,它赋予合取and在话语逻辑中的语义对称性、传递性和添加性.合取and的这些性质要求我们更加注意合取对象之间以及合取对象与话语命题之间的逻辑关系,因为这样我们就可能更加贴切地理解他人和我们自己的话语.

| Abstract: | Common as it may be, the conjunctive AND has much more discoursal implicature to explore. Much beyond the syntactic conjunction is there the semantic coordination which is attained, on the one hand, via cohesion, and on the other, through coherence. It, therefore, lends symmetry, transitivity and additivity to the conjunctive AND. These properties of the conjunctive AND merit our closer attention to the relationship between the items within conjunction and that in between the items and the propositions of our discourse, because in so doing, we are warranted a more appropriate understanding of others' speech, and our own as well. |
