| Abstract: | The traditional "exam-oriented"teaching method has been challenged and criticized. It is teachers' responsibility to teach students the learning skill and to do the research into the subject that foreign language teaching should be student - centered. Students should be equipped with the skills which conform to the rules of foreign language learning, so that they can learn effectively and successfully. Instead of merely teaching the language, teachers should teach the skills that students will need in study on their own to raise the efficiency in English teaching and to improve students' learning skills. |
