| Abstract: | In a period of 500 years, the national hereditary headmen of the Mo family promoted energetically the local economy, thus was of positive significance to Xincheng county of Guangxi province. Through an analysis of those chieftains and the poems, articles, complets and the genealogy of the Mo family, this paper aims at revealing the relationship between the Mo hereditary headmen and Xincheng's economy at that time from a distinctive historical materialist point of view. |
