高职院校外语教学模式理念探讨

摘    要:本文简要回顾了教育部颁布的三个关于高职院校《英语课程教学基本要求》(1993,2000,2009)的指导性文件,探讨当前“职业型”或“就业型”英语教学改革的模式及如何提升语言人文素质的相关问题。本文认为,要解决高职院校英语教学的“两用”(实用与应用)和“两业”(职业与就业)问题,教学模式仍需回归大学外语教学的语言性和人文性,澄清和加强学科建设的公共性和衔接性。

Abstract:Based on a brief review of the three guiding documents of Basic Requirements of English Curriculum for higher vocational and technical colleges (HVTC) issued by the Ministry of Education in 1993, 2000, and 2009 successively, this paper explores the career-oriented and employment-oriented English teaching models. It concludes that the teaching reform, due to the absence of its humanities nature and the loss of its disciplinary status, should return to its language orientation and humanities nature. Furthermore, the paper also demonstrates that the construction of the discipline should clarify and emphasize its commonality and continuity.
