| 摘 要： | 酉阳冉氏土司的历史悠久,经历了李溪官坝创业、铜鼓潭巩固到忠孝坝全盛的过程。酉阳冉氏土司的族属歧说不一,经历了由汉而土家的变迁过程。冉氏土司对元明清三朝的酉阳甚至西南地区的民族关系有着正负两方面的影响:积极方面表现为巩固了中华民族一体多元的民族结构、强化了民族之间的团结交流和促进了少数民族的社会进步,消极方面则体现在严酷的压榨与剥削和频繁的征调与讨伐等。
