| 摘 要： | 在不同的语域中,隐喻的种类和出现频率会有很大变化.在英语新闻报道中,概念隐喻主要体现为名物化和形容词化,后者的使用频率高于前者;在不同题材的新闻中,隐喻的使用有所不同.研究表明:隐喻的使用受语域三变量,即语场、语式和语旨的影响和制约,并体现新闻报道简洁、客观、正式和书面化的特点.在英语写作教学中,把握并运用隐喻使用的特点能有效地帮助学生提高写作技能,在遣词造句上体现新闻体特征.

| Abstract: | The types and the proportion of metaphor vary in different registers.In English news reporting,ideational metaphor mainly includes nominalization and adjectivalization,with the latter a little higher than the former in its proportion.The present study shows that,the use of metaphor differs from one subject to another in news reporting.The use of metaphor is influenced and defined by three variables of register,i.e.field,mode and tenor,and reflects the characteristics of concision,objectivity,formality and written English in news reporting.In teaching English writing,it will be helpful to improve students' writing skills and to realize the characteristics of news reporting that they master and apply the features of metaphor. |
