| Abstract: | Xu Yuanchong is one of the famous translator and translation theoretician in China and is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest master of Chinese poetry translation in both at home and abroad.According to his own experience of many years’ translation practice,he proposes systematic poetic translation theory "art of beautifulization,creation of the best as in rivalry".This thesis attaches much importance to the concrete application of prominent translator Xu’s poetic translation theory and techniques in poetry of English version. |
