| 摘 要： | 古典汉诗是中国古代文化中非常有代表性的一种文学形式。把中国古代的优秀诗歌翻译成英语，输出到西方国家，有利于增进这些国家人民对中国的了解。本文作者从译诗之难入手，分析了诗歌翻译家不可缺少诗人气质，然后又从理解和表达两个方面讨论了在具体的翻译过程中，中、西译者各自的优势和不足。最后，作者得出结论：中西合作译汉诗，可以取长补短,更有利于促进中华优秀的古代文化走向世界。

| Abstract: | Classical Chinese poetry is the representative of the ancient Chinese culture. It helps strengthen the westerners' understanding of China by translating classical Chinese poems into English. The author in this article, through the analysis of difficulties in poetry translation, holds that the quality of a poet is indispensable for poetry translators. Then the author studies the Chinese and western translators' advantages and disadvantages in the translating process respectively. And at last, the author concludes that the cooperation of Chinese and western translators will help draw on their strong points to make up for their own weak points. |
