| 摘 要： | 90年代迅速崛起的被誉为开创信息业新纪元的多媒体技术,实现了多种信息媒介的集成和多种硬软件的集成,并使信息在人机交互中以人类最习惯的形式进行。它的发展和应用对计算机技术和整个信息业产生了深刻的影响。建立在多媒体技术基础上的新一代图书情报系统一改传统的表现形式和结构模式,变被动为主动,大大增强了用户在系统中的地位和作用。多媒体技术和通讯技术的完美结合为电子图书馆奠定了基础,同时也为人类社会通向无纸世界铺平了道路。
