| Abstract: | In light of Meclilan's theory of achievement motive, the author investigates, classifies and analyses the factors which have impact on the study initiative of the students in P.E. major of normal colleges and universities with the methods of documents, psychological measurement and questionnaire, which shows that the study initiative of the students are closely related to their achievement motive, and the lack of study motivation is the chief factor which has had influence on the students' study initiative. Meanwhile, the author expounds the measures to develop the students' study initiative on the aspects of achievement motive, group effect, and tutor's guidance. |
