| Abstract: | The paper outlines methods of patent map, takes patent mapping of airborne phased-array radar technology as a example, demonstrates the produce flow of patent map including parsing objective of technical topic, determining search words and formulating search strategy, collecting patent data, reducing patent data, and making and reading patent map. The paper introduces its application in national defense technology area, and discusses the roles of patent map to national defense scientific and technological innovation. |
