霍尔姆斯比较教育研究方法论评析

摘    要:霍尔姆斯是当代著名的比较教育专家,他提出的"问题解决法"在比较教育发展过程中占据重要的位置。从其理论的哲学基础看,霍氏方法论承袭了波普尔、杜威的哲学思想,是假设演译法与反省思维法的整合。这在一定程度上促进了比较教育科学客观的研究,对比较教育学科发展作出了贡献。

Abstract:Holmes,a distinguished contemporary comparative educationist,put forward a method named "problem analysis" which plays an important role in the development of comparative education.Judging by the philosophical basis of his theory,this article points out that Holmes has inherited Popper's and Dewey's philosophical ideas.In his theory,the hypothetic-deductive method and the process of reflective thinking have been integrated.He has promoted the scientific and objective research in comparative education,thus contributing to the development of comparative education as a discipline.
