| Abstract: | The present paper concerns itself with the application of contrasti ve analysis to English Language Teaching in four aspects: the CA (contrastive an alysis) of English and Chinese attribute position; the CA of English and phrasal verb; the CA of surface structure and the deep structure of the sentence patter ns; and the CA of the prior and the later sentence patterns with the method of s entence pattern transformation. |
