| 摘 要： | 美国自然主义作家德莱塞的小说以欲望为主题，充分表现了欲望的巨大力量和人在面对欲望时的脆弱。欲望作为人的一个异化现象成为了人最大的异己力量，使人成为非人。德莱塞的很多小说都显示了他对欲望这种巨大异化力量的深刻见解和深入挖掘，从而从哲学高度深刻地揭示了人性的弱点。

| Abstract: | American naturalist writer Theodore Dreiser describes the theme of desire in his novels,in which he fully demonstrates the great power of desire and human's vulnerability in face of desire.As an alienation phenomenon,desire has become the strongest opposition force for people and made them become inhuman.Many of Dreiser's novels show his deep insight into the forces of alienation and hence reveal the weaknesses of human nature profoundly from the perspective of philosophy. |
