| Abstract: | Since its foundation, especially, the launching of its network service system at the end of 2000, National Science & Tech- nology Library (NSTL) has made rapid progress in constructing the sci-tech information resource sharing system and offering the web- based information service to the users of scientific and technical communities all over China. In addition, some author's thoughts on the foundation background of NSTL, the characteristics of its organizational structure, the functions of its service, as well as the demon- strating function of its constructing pattern to key Chinese information institutions and the reformation of the Chinese sci-tech information management system are also introduced in this paper |
