翻译中的文化因素解读

摘    要:品牌名的翻译是语言的转换和文化的交融,翻译过程中对文化因素的认识和处理至关重要。本文从跨文化比较的角度,通过对中英品牌名所蕴含的文化信息进行分析,比较了英汉两种语言文化的异同,就如何处理品牌名翻译中碰到的文化问题提出了文化迎合、文化避让和文化转换三种方法。

Abstract:The translation of brand names is the language transformation and cultural blending.It is a critical factor to understanding and dealing well with cultural elements during translation.From the perspective of cross-cultural comparison,this paper analyzes the cultural information that is contained in Chinese and British brand names,compares the similarities and differences between English and Chinese cultures,and finally states three methods on how to deal with cultural differences emerging in brand translation.
