孟宪承高等教育思想主要内涵及其现实意义

摘    要:孟宪承是我国现代著名的教育理论家,他在数十年的高等教育实践与理论研究中形成了富有内涵的高等教育思想。他通过比较西方国家的高等教育制度,将西方近代的高等教育制度与理念导入中国;根据我国高等教育发展的现状,剖析了发展过程中存在的问题与困难,大力弘扬爱国育人的师德风范,倡导高等教育服务国家、社会的重要功能。他从理论上促进了我国高等教育基本理论的研究,也从实践上推动了对我国大学发展过程中现实问题的探索。孟宪承丰富的高等教育思想,对当前我国高等教育所面临的问题与挑战仍然具有十分重要的现实意义。

Abstract:Meng Xiancheng, a famous educational theorist in modem China, accumulated abundant thoughts on higher education from his practice and theoretic study of higher education for dozens of years, which not only promoted the basic theoretic study on Chinese universities, but furthered our probe into the practical problems in the development of Chinese universities, exerting positive and far-reaching influences on the theoretic study and practical development of Chinese university. Meng Xiancheng's thoughts on higher education have shown very important practical significance to the problems and challenges during the common popularity of Chinese higher education up to the present.
