| Abstract: | The Puxian dialect is a branch of the Min dialect. A Textual criticism on the Puxian dialect is of value to the etymological research in the other branches of the Min dialect. So far some prevailing etyma of the Min dialect are not reasonable if checked with the Puxian dialect. They need to be proved again. |
