| Abstract: | Mo-tse is an ideologist, scholar and founder of Mohism in the early Warring States Period. Mo-tse and Mohist School is the largest school oppositing Confucian in the pre-Qin period, both are famous school. There are ten propositions in Mo-tse thought： universal love, non-offensive, esteem talents, identifying with the superior, economy of expenditures, simplicity in funerals, will of heaven, existence of the ghost, denying art, unnatural death. Among them the universal love is the core, economy of expenditures and esteem talents frugality are the fundamental. ＂Mojing＂ covers the philosophy, logic, politics, education, natural sciences and other disciplines content and has a significant contribution to the mechanics, geometry, algebra, optics etc. The contemporary value of Mo-tse and Mohism including ethics, peace, political, economy, management, science, education value and meanings of the world is not only applied to the Warring States period, but also can be applied to modern. It is worthy of our study, research, reference, follow and should be carry forward. |
