| Abstract: | This paper makes an analysis of metaphoric cognition in English language acquisition by adopting the contemporary theory of metaphor, which goes beyond the limitation of the traditional metaphoric theory . It also intends to explore the metaphoric English learning strategy through the relationship between metaphor and language, metaphor and English language acquisition. Thus ,a more perfect effect for English language acquisition can be expected to be obtained. |
