聋人和听力正常人语言理解和生成的实验研究

摘    要:本实验对聋人和听力正常人在语言理解和生成上的差异进行了比较。结果显示聋人虽然在书面语的输入输出条件下语言理解和生成的能力显著落后于听力正常人 ,但其在手语的输入、输出条件下语言理解和生成的能力与正常人的口语相比无显著差异 ,甚至在以形象思维为主的几项指标上成绩还略高于听力正常人。另外 ,本文在实验的基础上支持了聋校双语教学的主张 ,提倡使聋人在聋文化和听文化中成为自由生活的双语平衡者

Abstract:Linguistic comprehension and productions of deaf and hearing students were compared.Hearing students showed more linguistic flexibility in their writen news and story than did their deaf peers,whereas there were no significant difference between deaf students in their sign outputs and hearing students in their oral outputs.The results suggest that deaf students are linguistically and cognitively more competent than is generally assumed on the basis of evaluations in English.Although inferior to hearing age-mates in writen expression,they are comparable to,and in some ways better than those peers when evaluated using their primary mode of communication.Furthermore,the author touched on bilingual teaching for the deaf.
