| 摘 要： | 编辑工程学是将自然科学原理应用到编辑实践,总结和概括编辑、出版过程中的基本规律的一门学科。其理论结构体系主要由编辑工程学基础和编辑过程二大部分组成。编辑工程学基础是数、理、化。编辑过程则是对编辑工作的诸单元,包括积累信息、选题、组稿、审稿、加工、发排、读样、收集和处理、及反馈信息,进行研究、探索其相互作用的基本规律,从而改进和强化现有的编辑手段,开发和改进编辑过程中的技术手段和实现各单元的最优化设计和编辑全过程的最优化。

| Abstract: | Editorial engineering is a science concerning the use of the principles of natural science in the editorial practice and summing up of the basic laws governing the process of editing and publishing. Its theoretical system is mainly composed of the essential of editorial engineering and editorial process. The former consists of mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and the latter denotes the study on the relations between such steps as collection of information, selection of topics, soliciting of contributions, peer review, substantive editing, offsetting, proofreading, and collecting and handling of feedback information for the improvement of the existing editorial skills and for the optimization of various steps of the editorial process. |
