| Abstract: | This article attempts to summarize with a brief comment on studies of Chinese scholars on the relationship of modernism with the new Confucian school and Marxist philosophy. Post modernism as criticism of the negative aspects of modernism both conforms to and diverges from the Chinese traditional philosophy in certain aspects, the modern new Confucian school in particular. Under circumstances of post modernism, the author points out, modernization in China is a really challenging job. |
