| 摘 要： | 亨利·詹姆斯的创作具有很强的前瞻性。分析《戴茜·米勒》中的对话性和主题的含混性,可以见出亨利·詹姆斯小说中所蕴涵的现代性特点。在一定程度上与巴赫金对话理论、女性主义等20世纪文学批评理论不谋而合;同时文本主题的含混性使他具备转型时期作家所特有的现代性特征。

| Abstract: | The paper deals with the modernity in Daisy Miller.The present author argues that dialogue and ambiguity in the text constitute the modernity of Daisy Miller.The conflicts and confrontations among Daisy Miller,Winterbourne,Mrs.Walker and etc.,by nature,are the dialogues among different voices.Meanwhile,Daisy Miller's ambiguity results in the theme's ambiguity.Both dialogue and ambiguity reflect Henry James' modernity. |
