| 摘 要： | 传统的英语教学模式已不能适应现今高职商务英语专业＂培养学生应用能力＂这一教学目标的需要,而美国哲学家、教育家杜威的＂做中学＂理论与现今高职商务英语教学不谋而合,因此,＂做中学＂理论在高职英语教学中的应用势在必行。在实践中,努力构建＂做中学＂教学模式,转变观念,以学生＂做中学＂为主体和中心,建立现代师生关系。

| Abstract: | The aim of higher vocational business English education is to cultivate students＇ ability to apply English,so the traditional English teaching model has not already adapted to the English teaching target.However,Dewey＇s ＂learning by doing＂ theory coincides with the current higher vocational business English teaching,therefore,the theory is imperative in higher vocational colleges. |
