| Abstract: | The shaping of the imagery of horse in the Song ci poetry is codified with the elements of traditional culture and trends and fashions popular in those days, which coincides with the requirements of ci poetry as a literary form itself. What should call for close concern is that the imagery of horse in the Song ci poetry differs from that in traditional poetry and prose in many ways. |
