| 摘 要： | 胡适、周作人都站在人文主义立场上倡导过平民文学。但胡适的平民文学观又与周作人有诸多不同。在胡适那里,平民文学不仅中国自古就有,而且与国语文学、白话文学、民间文学、通俗文学等都是相通甚至相同的。这种诠释起码失之宽泛。事实上平民文学是19世纪末20世纪初兴起的思想启蒙运动和平民主义的产物,是一种具备现代性的、视新文学作家为创造主体的文学观念和创作主张,周作人的理论首倡正体现着这些涵义。随后,不仅有新文学作家的创作实践,毛泽东、阿英、郑伯奇、鲁迅等人也都是依循这些涵义做出或发表对平民文学的评价或看法的。

| Abstract: | Both Hu Shi and Zhou Zuo-ren advocated the Popular Literature on the basis of humanism,but their views were different in many ways.Hu Shi thought that Popular Literature not only existed in ancient China,but was identical to Chinese Literature,Vernacular Literature,Folk Literature and Common Literature.Hu Shi's explanation was too spacious for the reality.In fact,Popular Literature was the result of Enlightenment movement and Popular Doctrine at the end of the 19th century and the early days of the 20th century.Popular Literature possessed the modern quality,being created by the writers of new literature.Zhou Zuo-ren's theoretical initiation embodied exactly this sort of meaning.After Zhou Zuo-ren,not only had the writers of new literature had their creative practice but also Mao Ze-dong,A Ying,Zheng Bo-qi and Lu Xun followed to put forward their appreciations or views. |
