| 摘 要： | 习语作为语言的一种浓缩表达方式,是语言的精华,是人类在长期的生活经验中提炼出来的智慧结晶,承载着更加丰富的文化信息。本文旨在从Fernando提出的习语的描述世界、表达内心和言语交际功能角度出发,从历史典故、宗教信仰和文化习俗三个方面探讨了在跨文化交际中英汉习语翻译的文化传承功能。指出使习语背后的文化通过翻译在另一文化中得到理解和传承,使其丰富的文化信息能够在另一种语言里重现才是翻译的重点。

On Cultural Transmission of Idiom Translation |

| Abstract: | idioms are contracted expressions of language, are essence of language and are wisdom of human being from lifelong experience which carry abundant cultural informaitons. According to ideational, interpersonal and relational functions of idioms advocated by Fernando, the paper probes into the cultural transmission function idioms play in cross-cultural communication from historical, religious and conventional perspectives and states that how to make the culture behind the idioms understood and transmitted through translation in another language should be key point in translaiton. |
