| 摘 要： | 谚语是各个民族语言的一个重要组成部分。谚语以其凝练、通俗、生动、形象、音韵和谐、富含哲理的特点而成为各民族民间文学的一朵奇葩。谚语集知识性、趣味性、文学性于一身，是各个民族劳动人民高度智慧的结晶。文章主要对比分析英汉谚语的语言特点和探讨其语用功能，旨在加深读者对英汉谚语在语音、词汇、句式之间异同的了解，掌握英汉谚语所具有的语用功能，以丰富我们的语言知识和增强运用语言的能力。

| Abstract: | Proverbs are an important part of a language .They become an outstanding flower because of their conciseness ,popularity ,liveli-ness ,rhythmic harmoniousness and philosophy .Proverbs are knowledgeable ,interesting and literary .They are the fruits of peoples’ wis-dom .This paper conducts a contrastive analysis of the language features of English and Chinese proverbs and explores their pragmatic func-tions so that the readers can better understand the similarities and differences between the sounds ,vocabularies and sentence structures of English and Chinese proverbs so as to enrich their language knowledge and promote the ability of applying languages . |
