| 摘 要： | 英语习语中出现含有"Dutch"、"French"等国家名字的习语,这些习语从字面意思来理解就会给英语学习者带来困扰,并且这类习语对该国家有贬低现象。本文从互贬现象的角度对此类成语进行分类和解释,并指出习语中的互贬现象的历史和社会因素。
