| 摘 要： | 在语言诸要素中，词汇是语言中最为易变的活性因子，它是液态的，而不是固态的。随着现代科学技术的日新月异的发展，科学技术的新发现、新发明和新理论都需要新词来表达，于是一方面出现了大量新词，另一方面，一些原有词汇被赋予了新的意思，即涌现出了大量科技新词汇。文章简要地分析了科技新词的来源、构成及其发展趋势。

| Abstract: | Vocabulary is the most active and changeable of all the language elements. With the rapid development of modern science and technology, a great number of new English words are created to represent the new discoveries, new inventions and new theories of science and technology. Even some current-in-use common words are endowed with new meanings for this purpose. This paper simply analyzes the origin, formation and trend of English sci-tech neologism. |
