| Abstract: | LIU Chang was a representative figure of the reform of classic learning in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty.He suspected the classic on the surface,but revered it in the substance.He interpreted the classic with moral principles and not stick to the commentaries.He opened up a new prospect of the development of the classic learning in the Song Dynasty and held a important position in the history of the Chinese classic learning. |
