芜湖教育近代化的动力机制

摘    要:芜湖近代教育是伴随着芜湖城市近代化的时代步伐而发展的.城市变迁和文化传统流变所形成的城市文化品质,是芜湖近代教育因素成长的酵母;开埠通商随影而来的"外力"冲击下的文化觉醒,是芜湖教育近代化的催化荆.在中外文化对抗碰撞中裂变而生的芜湖"新学",是当时社会政治与经济在教育上的集中反映,是面对冲击挑战后虽被动迟缓但却具有积极历史意义的回应.

Abstract:The neoteric education in Wuhu has evolved over several centuries with the modernization of the city.The culture trait of the city formed by the city migration and the cultural tradition is the yeast of the evolution of the neoteric education.On the other hand,the culture awakening struck by the occurrence of the overseas trade is the impetus of the neoteric education.The Xinxue in Wuhu originated from the culture clashes between China and foreign countries is the reflection of the politics and economy of the current society on education.Furthermore,Xinxue is also the active and historical echo of the foreign strike in spite of its tardiness and passiveness.
