| 摘 要： | 比尔·科西是托妮·莫里森小说《爱》中的重要人物,也是作家笔下又一位心灵扭曲的黑人男性形象.通过对该人物的性格悲剧进行精神分析,认为他是一个戴着面具,始终无法从过去的阴影中走出来的人.其性格悲剧说明,黑人只有重新审视历史,勇于面对过去,才能克服“身份焦虑”,实现自我身份认同.

| Abstract: | In Love Toni Morrison characterizes Bill Cosey as a figure with distorted personality.This paper attempts a psycho-analysis of Cosey's tragedy of personality,showing that he is a black man whose life has been haunted by the shadow of the past.Cosey's personality tragedy indicates that black people will not be able to overcome their identity anxiety and achieve their self-identity unless they are capable of facing up to the unspeakable past. |
