| 摘 要： | 以某师专英语专业一二年级学生为调查对象,采用问卷和词汇量测试等工具, 探究英语专业学生阅读词汇量以及词汇学习策略的总体倾向,比较高低年级学生在词汇量和学习策略运用上的异同.结果表明:英语专业学生的阅读词汇量与教学大纲的要求存在一定的距离;学生普遍不能有效使用各种词汇学习策略;高低年级学生在词汇学习策略的使用上差别不大;词汇学习策略与词汇量之间具有一定的相关性.

| Abstract: | This paper reports an empirical study on various kinds of vocabulary learning strategies employed by the English majors at different proficiency levels in the Chinese context.The subjects were the first-year and second-year English majors from a normal college,and the instruments adopted included a questionnaire and a vocabulary test.Detailed analysis of both the qualitative and quantitative data has yielded the findings as follows: 1) the reading vocabulary of the English majors fails to meet the requirements set by the teaching syllabus;the students of English major of the college can not use the vocabulary learning strategies effectively;subjects at different proficiency levels are found not to be significantly different from each other;there exists a certain correlation between vocabulary learning strategies and vocabulary capacity. |
