摘 要: | One of the problems of syllabus design is deciding what the units of a syllabus shohld be. Traditionally units have been seen in terms of clauses and sentences. We teach students to produce and understand pattern sentences illustrating verb tenses, conditionals, the use of the articles, and so on.
