| Abstract: | The protection system of new varieties of plants has a positive effect on modern seed industry in China. Some main problems in the protection of new varieties of plants and seed industry development in China are analyzed in the paper. The authors also propose the measures to meet the new challenges including enforcing the management strategies for the scientific and technological value chains of plant seeds, enhancing the abilities of independent innovation in seed science, technology and industry etc. |
