论礼与儒墨两家的历史命运

摘    要:礼是中国传统化的主要模式,儒家继承殷周以来的礼化传统,并有所创新;墨家对儒家所继承的礼化传统予以批判,这必然受到已深入人心的传统化的抵制。儒家继承了礼化对秩序追求的特点,对社会秩序的整合符合了统治的需要;而墨家的秩序结构缺乏理论的建构,其兼爱思想更是难以实现的空想。儒家重视礼的饰作用;墨家却认为超出人基本生活条件之外的饰活动都是不必要的,从人认识自己的存在和社会的发展规律来看,儒家的理论比墨家具有更大的合理性。

Abstract:"Li" is a major word in traditional Chinese culture. Confusion carries on and develops cultural tradition of"Li" dating back to Zhou Dynasty; Mohist School of thought'crticism of this tradition naturally encounters the resistance of the "Li" cultural tradition as it has a powerful inersia. Confusion maintains the order -oriented characteristic of the Li cultural of Zhou dynasty. "Li" has an integrating effect on the social order, which meet the needs of rulers. Mohist School of thought' conception about social order doesn't call for theoretical construction.It's view of "universal love" is an unrealizable imagination. Confusion puts weight on Li' theory function which is deemed as unnecessary by Mohist School of thought as it's beyond the basic living conditions. From the perspective of how human learn their own existence and social development law, Confusion is more comprehensive than Mohist School of thought.
