| 摘 要： | 自由,曾经是一种解脱,现在却成了一种生命不可承受之重。人们在享有现代自由的同时,亦在忍受分离感、孤独感、无意义感、无能为力感等痛苦。面对这一现代自由的悖论,文章指出了摆在人们面前的两条路：要么选择逃避,要么选择勇敢地面对。作为一个满怀希望而又有理性的思想家,弗洛姆试图用“爱”来消解现代自由的悖论,因为“爱”既能克服现代自由的弊端。又能保存人的自由与个性独立。

| Abstract: | Freedom,once a kind of liberation,becomes an unbearable weight.People suffer the pains of isolation,loneliness,insignificance and disability while enjoying modern freedom.Confronting the paradox of modern freedom,ways are revealed for man:either choosing to escape,or choosing to face bravely.As a thinker with hope and reason,Fromm tries to use "love" to obviate the paradox of modern freedom,because "love" can not only overcome the defects of modern freedom,but also preserve the freedom and independence of personality. |
