| 摘 要： | 我国英语师资现状与社会对大学生英语交际能力的要求及中小学英语课程标准改革的要求很不相称,英语教师专业发展成为必然趋势。本文认为本族语教师对我国英语教师在英语专业知识的提高和丰富,以及探索、更新、引进英语教学理念和教学方法,提高教学实践能力等方面可以发挥重要作用,并提出了发挥本族语教师作用的途径和模式。

| Abstract: | The current quality of Chinese English teachers can't meet the demands of developing students' communication competency.English Teachers' professional development is an inevitable trend.The paper elaberates on the roles of native English speaking teachers in professional development of Chinese English teachers,which are defined as improving language proficiency,bringing in new teaching ideas and methods,enhancing teaching abilities.Approaches and models are put forward. |
