| 摘 要： | 本文论述了藏书、读书与治学的关系 ,认为中国文化传统崇尚藏书 ,但不是单纯为收藏和鉴赏而藏 ,更主要的是为读书人提供便利。读书也不是为读书而读书 ,而是为治学奠定基础。

| Abstract: | This essay discusses the traditional association between collection,reading and scholarship,especially in the context of Chinese culture.It argues that book collection was highly valued in Chinese culture.However,books were seldom collected for their own sake;they were generally collected for reading.Nor reading was carried out on its own account;it was done to lay a solid foundation for scholarship. |
