摘    要:通过研究钙对玉米种子活力及其萌发过程中GR活性的影响,发现外源CaCl2浸种可提高两品种玉米种子活力和萌发过程中GR活性,相反,Ca^2 专一螯合剂EGTA则通过降低Ca^2 水平而使两品种玉米种子活力和萌发过程中GR活性降低,表明玉米种子活力和GR活性受Ca^2 调控。

Abstract:In this paper, effects of calcium on seed viability and glutathione reductase (GR, E.C. 1.6.4.2) during germination in maize seedlings were studied . It has been found that exogenous Ca 2+ can not only increase seed viability of maize, but also enhance activity of GR during germination in maize seedlings. On the contrary, Ca 2+ -chelator EGTA decreased seed viability of maize and activity of GR during germination in maize seedlings. These suggesting maize seed viability and activity of GR has been regulated by Ca 2+ .
