| 摘 要： | 文章从Verschueren提出的顺应理论出发,探讨了英语和汉语倒装语序的语用功能.英汉倒装语序均具有焦点分离突出和情境设定的功能.以这两个功能为基础,通过变换语序等手段,可以进一步取得综合性的语用效果.同时英汉倒装语序还有各自独有的语用功能.

| Abstract: | Based on Verschueren's theory of adaptation,the paper attempts to examine the functions of inversion in Chinese and English.The paper reveals that in both Chinese and English,inversion performs two primary functions-focus-highlighting and situation-setting.And based on the two primary functions,we can get more complex pragmatic results by some means,such as changing word order.Because of difference between Chinese and English,inversion can perform respectively peculiar pragmatic functions in two languages. |
