| Abstract: | Ye Jianying urged the Northeast army to resist Japanese aggression from political angle and resolved problems for friendly troops so that he earned trust of officers and soldiers for his practical action,which contributed greatly to form Northwest area＇s trinity situation of Red army、Northeast army and the Seventeenth Route army,and it also provided strong military backing for the peaceful resolve of Xi＇an incident and the second Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. |
