| Abstract: | This paper describes the process and features of mass culture development in China. Then, the author analyzes cultural environment and social expectations on the contemporary Chinese public libraries. After that, the author preliminarily explores the relationship between the Chinese public library system and the popular culture development in the new 21 st century. Finally, some relevant measures are brought up. |
