| Abstract: | Taking a PCI data acquisition board as an example, this paper describes the design approach of the PCI driver kernel module on Linux platform.This driver has been installed in EPICS system (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control Sy stem).Data channels have been built between EPICS database and PCI data acquisition board and tests have been done in EPICS envi ronment.The PCI board, a new alternative I/O interface device is provided for the EPICS users. |
