| Abstract: | The key to the success of "the Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers(PETOE)" is constructing a teaching staff competent for "Outstanding Engineers" training.According to the existing problems among engineering teaching staff,the paper systematically studies how to construct the teaching staff.It starts with the analysis of the requirements of engineering teaching staff for "Outstanding Engineers",and then discusses the employment and on-the-job training of the staff.It is followed by the construction of part-time teachers.After that it studies the construction of engineering education teaching team.At last,it discusses the system guarantee and policy incentives for the construction of engineering education teachers’ team respectively in the hope of providing suggestion and reference for PETOE participant universities. |
