| Abstract: | This thesis makes an analysis of the C-E translation of public signs from a functionalist perspective.On the basis of presenting the stylistic,paralinguistic and functional features of public signs,the paper explains the translatability of public signs,namely Skopostheorie.In accordance with three rules provided by Skopstheorie,three translation principles are put forward,followed by three techniques in C-E translation of public signs. |
