| 摘 要： | 韩愈“非三代两汉之书不敢观，非圣人之志不敢存”，这使他的思想资源十分有限，对问题的思考也只能在传统儒学的体制内进行，因而他的道论难以超越先儒思想的局限；而柳宗元以儒为主，兼收并蓄的思想 主张，实质上是要构建一种新的儒学体系，这也是他一系列闪光思想的源头活水。韩愈的保守意识还使他对儒学典籍缺乏怀疑，对其中的材料往往不加辨析，直接用作立论的依据，在逻辑上也存在诸多疏漏。而柳宗元要挑战传统儒学，就必须确保论据的真实可靠和论证过程的无愉可击。倘从理性品格的角度进行评判，柳是远在韩之上的。

| Abstract: | Han Yu firmly held that 'Books not of Xia, Shang, Zhou and Han Dynasties, I don't read; Aspirations not ofsages, I don't have', which restrained his ideological source. Consequently, he pondered problems within the limits of traditionaldrifucian set up. So his exposition of the Tao could not surpass the limitations set by early Confucian thinking. On the cont-rary, Liu Zongyuan advocated absorbing and containing all thoughts besides Confucianism as its main source. In fact, LiuZongyuan intended to set up a new Confucian system, which became a source for his successive glittering thoughts. Due to hisconservatism, Han Yu lacked doubt for Confucian books and records and took their ideas as basis of his argument without dis-crmination. There are many logical errors in his writings. However, to challenge traditional Confucianism, Liu Zongyuan had tomake his argument convincing and proof irrefutable. Therefore, Liu Zong Yuan's writings are far superior to Han Yu's if judgedin respect of rational quality. |
