Abstract: | The validity of open-field test measures was assessed by simple and multiple regression analysis, taking the difference in experience of a novel situation as the external criterion. Ambulation in the first 1 min, rearing, latency to urination, and urination score were valid indexes of a new operational concept presented in this study, and they were also reliable. The weighting coefficients were obtained for the reduction of multiple measure scores to a single score that represents the concept. |
